The technology

Defense-grade science, in a lock cylinder.

Lock Saver is powered by TW25B® — the same PTFE-fortified synthetic technology proven on firearms, aerospace components, and industrial machinery. Here’s why that matters for your locks.

How it works

Penetrate. Bond. Protect.

01

Penetrate

Applied through the precision straw, Lock Saver flows deep into the pins, wafers, and moving contacts an aerosol can reach but a grease gun can’t.

02

Bond

The carrier flashes off and the TW25B® synthetic, fortified with PTFE particles, bonds to the metal — forming a tenacious, load-bearing film that stays where it’s put.

03

Protect

What’s left is a light, dry-to-the-touch film that lubricates cycle after cycle while sealing out water, salt, and grit — and blocking galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals.

Why “dry film” wins

The best of oil and graphite — without the downsides of either.

Wet lubricants lubricate well but stay tacky, so they attract the dust and grit that grinds a lock apart. Dry lubricants like graphite stay clean but offer no corrosion protection and clump when they meet moisture. Lock Saver’s TW25B® film resolves the trade-off.

Like an oilFlows in, lubricates deep, cuts friction across thousands of cycles.
Like a dry lubeSets to a clean, non-attracting film that won’t collect dust or lint.
Beyond bothAdds active corrosion protection and extreme-temperature stability.
